August 29, 20<\/em><\/strong>23<\/em><\/strong> \u2013<\/strong> Danvers, Mass. \u2013<\/strong> CCC<\/a>, a leader in advancing copyright, accelerating knowledge, and powering innovation, announces that its President and CEO, Tracey Armstrong, was named to the Forbes 2023 \u201c50 Over 50<\/a>\u201d list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The third annual Forbes \u201c50 Over 50\u201d list features a collection of powerful founders, innovators, and creators that have a deep sphere of influence and are changing the world. The list was divided into four categories \u2013 innovation, impact, investment, and lifestyle. Armstrong was featured in the innovation category<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since becoming CEO in 2007, Armstrong has led CCC (Copyright Clearance Center) through a period of tremendous growth and innovation. She collaborates with publishers, authors, universities, businesses, and industry associations around the world to address copyright issues and establish alliances. A leading voice on global copyright, artificial intelligence, FAIR Data Principles, and data analytics, Armstrong is also President of the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organisations<\/a> (IFRRO). She champions CCC\u2019s \u201cWe Not Me\u201d program promoting corporate and individual social responsibility. Armstrong also serves on the Board of Harborlight Homes<\/a>, a Massachusetts-based non-profit Community Development Corporation that cultivates just, equitable, and sustainable housing opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cCollaboration and commitment drive innovation across CCC,\u201d said Armstrong. \u201cI share the honor of being included on Forbes\u2019 prestigious list with every single CCC colleague around the world, and I\u2019m so grateful to everyone\u2019s contributions which make CCC the powerful community it is.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n This year\u2019s list, produced in partnership with Mika Brzezinski and the Know Your Value<\/a> platform, includes, among others:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Under Armstrong\u2019s leadership, CCC received a 2023 Top Workplaces USA national award<\/a> and was named one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts<\/a> by the Boston Globe. CCC was also included in the Globe\u2019s Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts<\/a> list.
