“There needs to be trust in the data, and that is always something we start with. The data will never be 100% perfect, but it can get even better. How many articles get published? What is the APC spend on an individual basis? What is the subscription spend? We do have a lot of data. And to share that data is key.” – Sybille Geisenheyner
CCC Returned to Exhibit in Hall 4.2, Stand 21
Representatives from CCC joined industry colleagues in-person at the Fair for the first time since 2019. With CCC’s recent acquisition of Ringgold and launch of OA Agreement Intelligence, discussions focused on how CCC’s solutions can help publishers make data-driven decisions in the continued shift to open scholarly publishing. “There was one major topic – data – and how we need to enable the evolution of scholarly communications by making sure that data is not only present, but high quality, persistent and correctly managed in all systems throughout the research lifecycle.” – Laura Cox, Senior Director, Publishing Industry Data, CCC
