CCC provides two types of organization identifiers:
Ringgold ID: A Ringgold organizational identifier is a unique number assigned to each organizational entity to authoritatively disambiguate it from other organizations. With over 600,000 Ringgold IDs and metadata records, Ringgold Identify Database is an industry leader, providing an expertly curated view of organization data, containing rich metadata, structured organizational hierarchies, and consortium relationships.
ISNI: All Ringgold Identify records contain an ISNI [ISO 27729], which are used to uniquely identify individuals and organizations. Ringgold is an approved registration agency for ISNI.
