The California Privacy Rights Act became fully operative on January 1, 2023, which amends the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). We want to inform you that Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. (“CCC”) does not sell any personal information which we may hold, such as email addresses or other contact information. Such information might have been acquired through a contact that you made with us to fulfill a transaction or to attend one of our webinars, for example.
You have a right to learn what, if any of your personal information we are holding, or you may ask that action be taken to correct, remove, transfer or restrict the use of your personal information. When we receive such a request (through the email box or toll-free number identified below), we have forty-five (45) days to respond by verifying your request and then carrying it out, or by explaining our business purpose in not fulfilling your request.
